Back from Nekocon~!

Had an awesome time again, was great seeing old friends and making new ones! It's a lot of fun doing AA, so I hope to aim for doing so at Fanime and maybe Kumoricon aside from next year's Nekocon. ^O^/ I just wish it wasn't such a pain trying to get table space. T_T

In the meantime, it's nice to be able to relax and not worry about prints and business cards and things. We had such an excellent spot for our table, and with two giant eyes and a gaping row of triangle teeth backed by orange, it was kind of impossible to miss so an added plus! WAHAHAHA. Table cloth doubles as a cape too. I wanna try making those teefy happi coats sometime, just cuz.

Got pulled aside during bag check at Richmond because they thought the metal grate things for display were suspicious looking. It was funny because at first the guy asked if I had a grill or something in there, but he completely understood when I told him we were coming from an anime convention. Turned out he liked anime too and was apparently a fan of Fullmetal Alchemist. He saw the figures I had and I offered him my spare of Winry since he said she was his favorite, but he said that was all right but was thankful for the offer. I imagine it would have been a little awkward to handle a random figure of a girl split in two with a stand and a tool box. XD

It's always nice to be back home though. I love traveling, but I hate doing the packing for it. It always seems like you have less space for things, even though the stuff you brought had somewhat of a place they were pulled from. *SIGH*

...I got new shoes today!
